Welcome to RLS-UK. We are a registered charity, providing help and support to people living with Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) and Periodic Limb Movement Disorder (PLMD). Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS), also known as Willis-Ekbom disease, is a neurological disorder characterised by an irresistible urge to move to stop uncomfortable or odd sensations. As it usually interferes with sleep, it is also considered a sleep disorder. RLS may start at any age, including childhood, and is a progressive disease for some, while the symptoms may remit in others. RLS-UK are here to lend an ear, offer advice and provide a community of people who understand what you are going through.

Please note if you are taking Ropinirole, Pramipexole, or Rotigotine (Neupro patch) for RLS do make your essential reading our revised guidance about Augmentation.  This can be found in our Understanding RLS section.
